Coverage: Wuste 2012 Las Vegas
The first weekend of June is a gathering of European cars in Las Vegas. What started off as a small gathering of Volkswagens has turned into one of the biggest European car festivals in western United States. While a majority of the cars are made up of Volkswagens, other brands such as BMW, Audi, Porsche, and Fiat attend.

People travel from Mexico, the United States and even some from Canada to attend this desert gathering. While many people arrive Friday, there are events starting Thursday with a G2G at a local In-N-Out Burger. Other events such as the Mt. Charleston Drive, BBQ at a VW dealer, people's choice Show and Shine, and award ceremony take place throughout the weekend.
There was an amazing turnout of cars even though the heat was unbearably hot. Like the previous years before, the weekend had temperatures in the high 90's and 100 degree range. It didn't stop people from partaking in the festivities and having fun. It did cause some problems on the road with cars heatsoaking and breaking down on the way to and from Wuste.
Nonetheless, Wuste is a fun filled event with beautiful cars and beer everywhere. If only we can catch a break and have cooler weather next year. Here are just some highlights from weekend.
